The Spring Planting of the Corn Friendship Gathering has come and gone. It was a small gathering due to last minute decisions. However small it was, the fires were lit and traditions observed, ceremonies performed and individuals cleansed.
Among the members in attendance were the Bear Clan, The Long Hair Clan, our Shaman Dakota Eagle Spririt and his guest Gail Wilson (I have forgotten her spirit name.. I do apologize).
Chief's youngest sister was renamed. She threw away the old name of "yellow Wing" and recieved the name "Mother", having recently lost her first born son.
Tucker Evans of the long hair clan took the position of Head Warrior of the Long hair clan
Gray Wolf (Joshua Davis of the Long Hair Clan . My nephew, step grandson to the Chief) s still missing... please keep his mother Christine Hooks in your thoughts and prayers).
